About EBAWA

Hampton Roads own, Earl Bynum & As We Are has reached national & international exposure with nine world tours and two Stellar Award nominations. Virginia history was made when Bynum’s group performed for Governor Tim Kaine’s Inaugural Ball Concert. In addition to sharing the platform with a host of gospel artists, they have performed along with Michael McDonald, Steely Dan and the Beach Boys. Earl Bynum & As We Are desires to give back to the community and service the youth of the Hampton Roads area by encouraging them to discover and develop their talents. This led to the start of EBAWA Performing Arts & Development Center. EBAWA focuses on educating the youth in basic life skills such as the elements of resume writing , proper grooming and job interview preparation. Our goal is to empower and support the youth by exploring and developing their innate creativity. This will assist in the development of their professional journey as successful and productive members of society.
